Thermographic cameras

SPSE have implemented an innovative tank roof fire detection system on Fos-sur-Mer tank farm.

Three pylons of 30 m high, each equipped with a system of thermographic cameras, have been installed at the heart of the facilities.

This system performs 360-degree automatic surveillance rounds to scan the 160 hectares of the tank farm.

These cameras can be remotely controlled allowing better management in case of a Safety event.

These cameras have been operational since February 2020.
